What I bring to my students is a joy of music, I find where their passions lie, and then nurture and grow those, helping the student to embrace an ever broader understanding of music and composition.

I have a deep understanding of music theory and composition, which I bring to my students in a language that they can understand. I find that as a students passion and motivation grow, they inevitably want to practice more, and learn more helping to foster their budding skills.

I help my students to find unique exercises and musical pieces to strengthen their technique in a style that works for them.
​
I have experience with AMEB exams, and enjoy helping a student overcome anxiety and build excitement and joy around having their skills recognised. and acknowledged.
